DANCING STIGMA RELATED TO HIV\AIDS

Is a dance conveying a message to the community trying to educate on how to live with those people who are affected with the disease by loving,caring and excepting them back to the community because they are our brothers and sisters.sawwa dancers arethe ones staging the show at nakuru players theater in october and after that we will take the stigma dance to various schools.Any assistance will be accommodated.

condom in school

Is there need goverment and NGOs to introduce condom in school ? from my own perspective i think it should be there because it will reduce hiv/aids and other deseases such as STI sexual transmited intercouse which is so rampart in youth age between 14-25.

MR AND MISS RED RIBBON

It is a concert organized with REPACTED to try to eradicate stigma and discrimination which has been identified as one of the major things that is killing people living with HIV and aids which is challenging the efforts being put across the world to fight the virus. the event is targeting people between 16-25 + or -2 so that they can help as to encourage more young people that they can live and giving them hope and also encourage them to take control of their lives and know their status. Our goals is reach out to people living with HIV/AIDS AND come out in the solidity to address and fight stigma in our society. mission is to give hope to people with HIV& AIDS.vision is to live in the world and to have a stigma free society.

Repacted dance projects

Repacted,a youth organization based in Nakuru players theater ,recently we began a dance project where some of us are practicing various types of dance eg modern,salsa, lingala and traditional dance where we performed in various places with the hope of earning something.we would like to dance many types of dance and add our skills.If you are interested with our dance you can help us with materials (video or books) and also if you are a choreographer you can come to Nakuru Kenya so that we can exchange ideas,styles etc.currently we are 12 members and i hope number will increase depending with the types of dances we will be having,for now i am the one who co-ordinate and directing the group (Collins otieno) and assisted with our partron Collins oduor who provide us with funds and also buying costumes for dance members. we are in nakuru players theater.
